Put it in the Right Perspective!!!:)

OKAY, I just got fired up!!!:)

A friend of mine was goin’ through some tough times… Are any of you guys? Where you directin’ all that anger&negativity? Surely, not to the One Who gave you life, created you, formed you, had plans for a perfect life for you, sent His Son to get on a cross&die for you? The One Who gets misspoken of/&slandered/mocked&ridiculed every day? Not MY God, our God, I hope?…

He waits for you each day, to give Him glory, some gratitude, a little love… Every day, He’s there, whether you realize it, or not! :). I canNOT simply express just how He loves you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! More than I’m feeling for you, right now. Whenever right now is, whoever you are… You have NO. ideaღ ღ!!! I’ll bet if you could spend just 10 minutes on the other side of heaven… you’d be astounded at how much intricacy is in place, to keep the balance of the universe(so would I!)! -I can’t keep from saying it again…God loves you!!! :) If you’ve heard it a thousand times, I wish you really would right now <3. Do you have any idea why you’re still alive? You’ve still got more to do, choices to make, people to help&be helped by- God’s moving hands. Have you ever sat down&thought of all the things that might’ve occurred to you, if not for Him? I don’t even know all the things! (Thank God, He takes care of us!!:D) Something happening, making someone late to work, so they didn’t hit me with their car… All these crazy scenarios that would keep me from typing to you now, or to you reading this!!! I’m not saying it’s cause for worry! I’m saying: it’s cause to REJOIIIIIIICE :). If you’re reading this right now: GET UP &CELEBRATE!!! WHOO!!! WE’RE ALIIIIIIIVE:D Even if there ain’t no hills with music around!!xD BE THANKFUL FOR IT, LIFE ROCKKKS!!! 8) WOOOO-HOO!!!

Kick the devil in the face! -Did that seem random? Well, if you’re going through stuff, that’s chains of bondage, holding you down- don’t let the devil pull one over on you!! Don’t let him get the best of you!!:) Say, “God, I’m gonna CHOOSE TO BE DELIGHTFUL! I am sooooo DELIGHTED that you chose me to be here, alive, right now!!!:D THANKS YA!!!” (I don’t care if that *wasn’t* proper grammar!!) “Thank-you so much for keeping me alive:)! &Allowing me to be alive! :D I’m gonna choose to have an AWESOME attitude, no matter the circumstance, because this is all amazing, I can’t wait to live out Your plan!:D THANKS FOR THINKIN’ O’ ME!! (by the way), and I’M GONNA CHOOSE TO HAVE COURAGE!:) I *WILL* be STRONG! I will have HOPE IN YOU, I will put my TRUST IN YOU, &I’m not gonna be afraid!! I’m not gonna worry about it, ’cause You’re the GOD of the UNIVERSE!! (HOW AWESOME IS THAT) AND I know, that You are the SAFEST PLACE for my trust to be!!!:D. Just tell me what to do- guide me! :) I will follow &obey, I don’t want to get in any messes unforeseeable to me! I want to do Your will, &abound in Your Blessing, for being obedient unto you!!!:D. GOD, YOU ARE AWESOME!! 8D!!! I will USE MY FAITH. -That’s what it’s THERE FOR!!!:) I will test the waters, and stretch my limit continually, growing in You!:D &By. Your. Grace! Love, &Mercy!:)”

You know those are words tossed around a lot, let’s define them!:) Mercy= not getting what you deserve (Ya did something wrong, justice says you gotta pay, some how& mercy says “nope, you’re good- you don’t haveta do that, I’ll take care of it :)”). Grace= getting something you don’t deserve (“You sinned, but I’m gonna send my Son to die for you, ’cause I love ya that much! -I love Him too, but He’s perfect, don’t worry about Him, He’ll come through this, He wants to do this for you!:)”) &Love=making sacrifices for someone else, when you don’t have to (I would say death would be a good example, following the Gracy&Mercy combination)(or, just for an example, else-wise: you give your movie ticket to somebody else- you don’t get to see the movie, but somebody else does, &it’s not because you changed your mind).

Does this put anything into an awesome, humbling perspective?:) It’s supposed to be positive, fyi:D!!!

So, my friend, he was down, thinkin’ God was the problem- he didn’t see God at work&he was in pain- natural thought, right? Darn devil… *ahem*. So, when he called God a coward, I was like WHOA. Freeze. -Say what? nuh-uh!!! &I proceeded with this:

“You know that poem about the one set of footprints(-found on Google)? Well, you know what?! GOD IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU. It’s you, who choose to turn away, not listen, make it complicated, whatever the situation, whatever the problem. It’s because you allow the enemy to confuse you&you listen&you point the fist! Don’t do it. CHOOSE to BE STRONG. CHOOSE. To be Courageous in the face of defeat and trials. CHOOSE TO HAVE FAITH. USE IT. (I’m not yelling, I’m emphasizing) :). CHOOSE TO BE WISE. CHOOSE TO LOVE. LOVE GOD like Job did! You know ALL that terrible stuff he went through? Pull through like he did! You can, the strength is always there. You just need to choose to say, YOU KNOW WHAT SATAN? I’VE HAD ENOUGH, &I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU DO TO ME, MY GOD IS THERE, AND I AM STANDING ON THAT PROMISE&I’M SPITTING IN *YOUR* FACE!!! MY GOD IS GREAT&AWESOME AND MIGHTY!! HE WILL DESTROY YOU! AND I WILL STAND WITH HIM IN THAT TRIUMPH, ON THAT DAY&REJOICE, FOR I KNOW WHERE MY VICTORY LIES! IT’S IN HE WHO SAVED ME, AND GIVES ME HIS LOVE, &GRACE&MERCY EVERY DAY!!! Thank God for all your blessings, man[/woman]. :) Choose to see them, choose to be greatful, and choose to believe. Through thick&thin, no matter what. God only gives you what you can handle- use those muscles, grow in your walk with Him. Walk WITH God! See how far&amazing you can really go with Him!! Don’t give up now, you know if you’re at this point, you’re close to an amazing breakthrough in God that the Devil wants to keep you from. GET THAT BLESSING! ALL SPEED AHEAD!!!:) DO IT WITH PASSION&GOD’S RIGHTEOUS POWER!! You can do it, I believe you can, bro[/sis]! Just choose it:D Test that power out, test that faith- it’s there. You just gotta USE it :D!! Be active in your walk with Him!! Condemn the Devil any time he gets in your way!!! Quote scripture at him&to his face!!! Use it against him, don’t let him use you:). Don’t let him walk all over you in victory!! PICK IT UP!!! ARM YOURSELF WITH GOD’S MIGHTY ARMOUR(see below)!! &USE IT TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL!!:) God will be so excited, &you will be too, -just once you *choose* to go there…:) Read the Bible, the whole Bible, &listen &BE OPEN to listen to anything God has to say to you- let HIM & only HIM write on your heart…♥”

“7 But the worldly aggadot(legends, myths) and bubbemeises (old wives tales), refuse. Rather, train yourself [1:4] for chasidus [in Moshiach].8 For hitammelut (bodily exercise or training) is kedai (profitable) a bissle(bit), but chasidus [in Moshiach] is profitable in every way, holding havtachah (the promise) of Chayyim(Life) now in the Olam(World) Hazeh(This), and, later, of Olam(World) Habah(to be).9 This dvar(word) torah is trustworthy and worthy of all acceptance.10 For to this end we labor and strive at the melachah (task), because we have set tikvateynu(trust) in the EL CHAI [YEHOSHUA 3:10] who is Moshi’a (Savior) of kol(all) Bnei(Sons) Adam, that is, the ma’aminim(Messianic Belivers) [in Moshiach Adoneinu].11 On these things insist and say shiurim(lessons [speak-teach]).12 Let no one regard with contempt your tza’irut (youth), but become a mofet (example) for the ma’aminim [in Moshiach] in loshon (speech), in hitnahagut (conduct), in ahavah(loving spirit), in emunah(faith), and in lev(heart) tahor(pure).13 Until I come, attend to the kri’ah betzibbur (congregational public reading) of the Kitvei(Writings) Hakodesh(TheHoly), attend to the Messianic hatafah (preaching) and to the Messianic hora’ah (instruction, teaching).14 Do not neglect the matanah (gift) in you which was given to you by means of dvar hanevu’ah (prophecy) with the s’michah(laying hands) administered by the Ziknei(Elders) HaKehillah(TheCongregation/Community).15 Put these things into practice, that your progress in shomer masoret (religious devotion) may be manifest to all.16 Be shomer(keeper, guard) both toward yourself and toward your Messianic hora’ah (instruction), and be arain getun (engrossed), torud (completely absorbed and involved) in them. For by so doing this, you will come to Yeshu’at(Salvation in) Eloheynu(Our God), and this means not only you yourself but also those who hear your hatafah [about Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach].” 1st Timothy, (Timotiyos Alef/I) 4:7-16

If I can say anything more, please let me know!!:) I hope this helped you, wherever you are, or aren’t in your walk with Yeshua, the Son of God, our Saviour :D (no one can get to God, Yehovah, forgetting the Son! :) “Rebbe(Rabbi), Melech(King) HaMoshiach(theMessiah)[Yeshua] says to him, I am HaDerech(TheWay), HaEmes(TheTruth), and HaChayyim(TheLife). No one comes to HaAv(TheFather) except through me [1Sm 3:7].”Yochanan (John) 14:6).

(from above)10 For the rest, be continually empowered in the ko’ach(power/strength) of Hashem(theName, Yehovah) and in the oz(strength) of His gevurah(heros/strength). [TEHILLIM 27:14]11 Put on the whole armor of Hashem(Yahweh) for you to be able to stand against the nechalim (scheming deceitfulness, wiles, evil plots) of Hasatan(Thedevil).12 Because we are not wrestling against basar vadahm (flesh and blood), but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the choshech(darkness) of the Olam(World) Hazeh(This), against the kokhot ruchaniyim ra’im (evil spiritual forces) in Shomayim(Heavens).13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of Hashem(Yehovah), that you may be able to withstand in the Yom(Day) HaRah(TheEvil) and, having done all, to stand.14 Stand, therefore, having girded your waist with HaEmes(TheTruth) and having put on the breastplate of Tzedek(Righteousness), [YESHAYAH 11:5; TEHILLIM 132:9; YESHAYAH 59:17]15 And having put as shoes on your feet that which makes you ready to be a maggid(narrator/preacher) of the Besuras(GoodNews) HaGeulah(TheRedemption/Salvation). [YESHAYAH 52:7]16 With all these things, take up the shield of emunah(faith), by which you will be able to quench all the flaming darts of haRah (the Evil one);17 And take the helmet of yeshu’ah(SALVATION) and the cherev(sword) of the Ruach(Spirit) Hakodesh(TheHoly), which is the Dvar(Word) Hashem(Yehovah). [YESHAYAH 59:17; 49:2]18 Daven(Pray) in the Ruach(Spirit) Hakodesh(TheHoly) always with all tefillos(prayers) and techinnah (supplication). To that end keep shomer(guard, watch) and always persevere in techinnah (supplication) for the Kadoshim(Holies, “Saints”);19 And for me also, that to me may be given utterance in opening my mouth in boldness to make known the Sod(mystery?) HaBesuras(TheGoodNews) HaGeulah(TheRedemption),20 On behalf of which I am an emissary in chains, that in it I may be bold as it is necessary for me to speak.” Ephesians 6:10-20

The Power of Praise ღ

The power of praise. Can heal your limp.
You’ve been spurned&burned by a life with no flavaa* -bust outta prison with the risen life Sav-yahh*.” (:D *Insert NY accent (Carman) on those two words, lol). -Note: the rap parts- these lyrics- are cut out of the linked YT video, for unknown reason- great song anyway:) ).

No matter what we are going through in our lives, it is crucial to praise Yah(shortform of Yahweh, a name of God): <- that is not a frowning face, it is an end parenthsi(?), with a colon to call your attention to the following:

1 It is tov(good) to give thanks unto Hashem(YHVH, and to make music unto Thy Shem(Name), O Elyon;2 (3) To proclaim Thy chesed(grace) in the boker(morning), and Thy emunah(faith) baleilot(by nights),3 (4) Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the nevel (lyre); to the melody of the kinnor (harp).4 (5) For Thou, Hashem(Yehovah), hast made me glad through Thy work; I will joy in the works of Thy hands.5 (6) Hashem(Yahweh), how great are Thy works! And Thy machshe’vot (thoughts) are very deep.6 (7) An ish ba’ar (brutish, senseless man, dolt) knoweth not; neither doth a kesil (fool) understand this.7 (8) When the resha’im(enemies) spring up like the esev (grass), and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed adei-ad (forever).8 (9) But Thou, Hashem(theName), art exalted l’olam(forever).9 (10) For, hinei(behold), Thine enemies, Hashem(Yehovah), for, hinei(behold), Thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.10 (11) But my keren(horn) shalt Thou exalt like the keren(horn) of a re’eim (wild ox); I shall be anointed with fresh shemen(oil).11 (12) Mine eye also shall look on mine foes, and mine ears shall hear of the resha’im(enemies) that rise up against me.12 (13) The tzaddik(Righteous) shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Levanon.13 (14) Those that are planted in the Beis(House) Hashem(of Yah) shall flourish in the khatzerot Eloheinu (courts of our G-d).14 (15) They shall still bear forth fruit in old age; they shall be deshenim (stalwart, vigorous) and ra’ananim (luxuriant, fresh);15 (16) To proclaim that Hashem(YHVH, the Name) is yashar(straight/honest, right); He is my Tzur(Flint- Rock/Contact), and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Tehillim(Psalms) 92.

Right now, as I am righting this, it is Sukkot!! :D Feast of Joy! (Simcha!) And celebration :). But, I am reminded that no matter when it is, His praise always makes things better, it is always good, and always helps even us! Brings things into truer focus ( ^to Him). How many things is God doing for us? &Constantly! Don’t take Him for granted. Welcome His Presence with Praise&Thanksgiving :). Don’t you love doing things for people who love and appreciate who you are &what you do? How much more likely are you to do all you can to please them? God loves us no matter what we do- sometimes that means Him putting up with a lot of stuff. Who are we to constantly ask for things, when we do nothing for Him? Even if you feel you can’t do anything in return (NO ONE can EVER repay God!! Thankfully, He’ll always outdo us ;Dღ), you can ALWAYS thank Him for sustaining your breath. Giving you food, shelter, close companions, friends, family, sustenance, nourishment, Himself, His Son… (if you are) do you realized you are saved? Do you praise Him for this each day? I must admit, that I do not!!:O I need to definitely remember that one more often!!!! That so long as I strive to please Him, and obey, &do so with a grateful heart, I have been saved from the pit of sheol(hell) and the Devil has no hold over me!! What a REJOICING thought!!!!!! :) I am so glad there is a God of this universe who cares about me, knowing each and every hair on my head- my needs before I ask for them ღ Praise Yah!!!

13 For Thou hast created my inmost being; Thou didst interweave me in the beten(womb) immi(mother’s).14 I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Thy ma’asim(works); and that my nefesh(soul) knoweth very well.15 My atzamim (bones, frame) were not hid from Thee, when I was made beseter (in secret), and skillfully wrought in the depths of the Eretz(Earth).16 Thine eyes did see my golem (embryo), yet being unformed; and in Thy Sefer (Book) all the yamim (days) ordained for me were written down, when as yet there were none of them.17 How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O El! How great is the sum of them!18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the chol (sand); when I awake, I am still with Thee. Tehillim(Psalms) 139:13-18

When I was little, I pondered the need for actually asking Him for something, when He already knows what I need. Well, I came up with this: If I never ask, then God won’t know beforehand- because I never did it in the first place!:D!! That’s not to say He won’t provide, when I forget to mention it- but why not, instead of expectation, provide an offering unto Him in respect&reference, for He is the Great High King of all? :) Then and only then, do I have the right to ask for anything above what I’m already given&blessed with :) Doing a little extra for my God to “earn” the favor, so to speak. It will delight His heart, He deserves every bit of us- 101%, all the time, for we are His bondservants :). We serve Him, we are here to fulfill His purpose, and he truly does reward our obedience- He will not let us grow hungry or lack for *anything*. YAHWEH takes care of, protects, and PROVIDES for His own ;) that’s you&me, if you believe in Him&carry out His words…

1 Fret not thyself because of re’im (evildoers); neither have thou kina (jealousy, envy) of the workers of iniquity.2 For they shall soon be cut down like the khatzir (grass), and wither as the green desheh (herb, plant).3 Trust in Hashem(The Name, Yahweh/Yehovah), and do tov(good); so shalt thou dwell in the Eretz (land), ure’eh emunah (and thou be pastured securely).4 Delight thyself also in Hashem(Yehovah), and He shall give thee the desires of thine lev(heart).5 Commit thy derech (road, way) unto Hashem; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.6 And He shall bring forth thy tzedakah (righteousness) as the ohr (light), and thy mishpat (justice) as the tzohorayim (noonday). Tehillim(Psalms) 37:1-6

I will let the Word(Yeshua) speak for Itself(Himself):)

1 Praise Hashem(YHVH). Praise Hashem(Yehovah) from HaShomayim(TheHeavens): praise Him in the heights above.2 Praise ye Him, all His malachim(angels): praise ye Him, all Tzivos(Hosts) Hashem(Yehovah).3 Praise ye Him, shemesh(sun) and yarei’ach(moon): praise Him, all ye kokhavim(stars) of ohr(light).4 Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above HaShomayim(TheHeavens).5 Let them praise the Shem(Name) of Hashem(Yehovah/Yahweh): for He commanded, and they were created.6 He hath also established them forever and ever: He hath made a Chok (decree) which shall not pass away.7 Hallelu(Praise) Hashem(theName=Yehovah) from ha’aretz(the land), ye sea creatures, and all tehomot(depths):8 Eish(lightning), and barad(hail); snow, and cloud; stormy wind fulfilling His Devar(Word):9 Mountains, and all hills; etz pri (fruitful trees), and all cedars:10 Beasts, and all cattle; remesh (creeping things), and flying fowl:11 Malchei(kings) eretz(earth [of the earth]), and all people; sarim (princes), and all shoftei aretz:12 Both bochurim(young men), and betulot(maidens); zekenim(old men), and ne’arim(children):13 Let them praise the Shem(Name) of Hashem(Yehovah): for Shmo(His Name) alone is excellent; His hod(glory) is above Eretz(Land) and Shomayim(Heavens).14 He also exalteth the keren(fund) of His people, tehillah (the praise) of all His Chasidim(Followers); even of the Bnei(Children) Yisroel(of Israel), an Am (people) close unto Him. Hallelu(Praise) Hashem(YHVH). Tehillim(Psalms) 148

Praise HIM!:D

All the time, for He is good and His love endures forever :) Shalom ღ.

Love Where you Dwell <3

Recently, this article surfaced, and I appreciate it’s beauty! I love Women Living Well Ministries.

It is so important to be comfortable in your own home!! It should be an uplifting atmosphere full of love&creativity, where you can feel free to be yourself, explore your talents, and work together as a unit, helping each other out, using your strengths and building an ever-strong network of joy, wellness, and personal relationship. If there’s anything we need most in life, it’s to keep our relationships with friends and family strong and unified, as we are the Blessed Body of Messiahღ. Strife, stress, anger, fighting, rebellion… we all know these are negatives and tear us down. Recently, Yom Kippur happened, when all God’s people get right with Him and each other, making sure we search ourselves and make reparations, repent of our wicked ways, so HE can clean us, and prepare us for …SUKKOT :). Which actually started earlier tonight!!:D (Okay, yesterday). The most joyous feast of all, when someday He will marry His Bride (HALELUYAH!).

As in the article in the link above, positive faith-affirming music is a great idea to have going throughout the home!! :) It uplifts the mood, of course, making everybody just a bit happier than they’d otherwise be, right? Frequencies affect us, and everything around us, so it’s good to make the proper choice :). What we hear, we are more likely to do, and adopt as a lifestyle. What we accept through music is very important. So, why not have the best, subtly playing throughout your home?=) I’ve linked two sites with online-radio of Messianic/Hebrew music on the sidebar (under Music) (Sounds of ShalomRejuvenated Generation) incase you don’t have any, or would like something refreshing to hear =);).

Personal space: is ALWAYS needed! :D. It’s like sleep: when we can relax by ourselves and digest and assimilate what’s gone on, by giving our brain a break. Sometimes we need to give each other a little space, if we’re trying to get something done. If you’re someone in charge, and things aren’t getting done that you’d like, don’t nag -it never really helped or improved anyone- it’s a real drag-down! Encouragement may perhaps be the single most important “weapon” we possess! (Try a little something in return to spur on action, however simple). At least if we want to get someone going in a different direction, by encouraging them, it keeps thoroughly positive!!=) Never strike-down ideas, or aspirations of another person- that just destroys. That will be killing their spirit! You never want to do that :). Especially in younger people; they’re still mold-able, and they will carry our words so much farther than we perhaps intended. Even if they forget, they’ll still change their actions around those words you spoke, which will be a habit for the rest of their lives. We all know words are important! They never ever, ever die! I definitely need work in controlling my words, and how I accept them from others.

Prayer is a foundation. It keeps the basis in place, and the walls standing (glue to the fabric!!). We ALL need prayer!!! Prayers to do the right things, have the right heart before Yahweh, and before others. The wisdom for our actions, and the “umph” behind them, so that we will do them! Solomon had great wisdom from Yehovah! He did not always employ that wisdom, though:/. We need the strength and the boldness in the Spirit to plunge ahead and always do what’s right, to say NO to temptation, laziness, sluggishness, the Devil himself!- any evil at all; it is sin. YHVH will tell you what you need to do, if you ask Him. Don’t move until He says to! Timing is also everything. There is so much abounding in blessing, when we hear and obey. It makes Him so happy!! Can you imagine being God and dealing with us humans all day? “NO! Go this way, trust me!! YES you’re on the right track-wait no, go back! Stop! Turn around, proceed straight. No, don’t go left!” He has the big picture :). It’s like that game where you direct your blindfolded partner to a goal. Last time I played that game, it went terribly :P lol. He is so much better at being God! We are only human, it’s always a mistake to listen to our own hearts, as they are deceitful above all things.

8 For he shall be as an etz(tree) planted by the mayim(waters), and that spreadeth out her shorashim (roots) by the brook, and shall not fear when chom (heat) cometh, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be anxious in the shenat batzoret (year of drought), neither shall cease from yielding p’ri (fruit).9 The lev (heart, mind) akov (is deceitful) above all things, and anush (incurable [in wickedness]); who can know it?10 I, Hashem(YHVH), search the lev, I test the kelayot (kidneys, i.e., most inward parts), requiting to every ish(man) according to his drakhim(ways), and according to the p’ri(fruit) of his deeds. Jeremiah(Yeremiyahu) 17:8-10

Remember, we can’t always understand the intentions of one another: (1st Samuel 16:5-7We only know what someone tells us: we can’t know what’s going on in their head, what they’ve been through that day, what frustrations, what words they’ve heard, what they’ve done, otherwise. So, it’s great to be understanding and sensitive to somebody’s spirit, rather than fling out of control at a snide comment. Deflect the remark a loved one made, ask them if they need help. Tell them you love them, do something that will help make their life better!! A hug never killed anybody ;D. A cup of tea? Help them out with their work, make things more comfortable for them :). They will brighten up, when they realize they did not mean to direct any negativity towards you! Perhaps they’ll share the problem, but they’ll for sure appreciate your support :). Remember, we are only responsible for our own actions.

Relieve stress and do something fun!:) LOVE LIFE. Take joy in every moment! People don’t live forever, take advantage of them, while you have them!! Go all out on joy, every day (don’t forget to relax). Be happy with whatever God has provided you with.

20 Then Iyov(Job) arose, and made the keri’ah(rupture) on his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshiped,21 And said, Arom(naked) came I out of beten immi(the womb of my mother), and arom shall I return there; Hashem gave, and Hashem hath taken away; yehi(may) Shem(Name) Hashem(the Name/YHVH) mevorach(blessed).22 In all this Iyov(Job) sinned not, nor natan tiflah leElohim (charged G-d with folly). Iyov(Job) 1:20-22

That is the true key to happiness in life: faithfulness, contentness, and ever-greatfulness. …because since when did we deserve anything? Live Like You Were Dying.

<3 Shalom

ETA: Found this awesome, &relevant verse: :)

15 See that no one returns ra’ah(evil) for ra’ah(evil), but always pursue haTov(theGood) both for one another and for all.16 Have simcha(joy) always.17 Daven(Pray) unceasingly.18 In everything offer hodayah(thanks), for this is the ratzon(will-desire) Hashem(Yahweh) in Moshiach(Messiah) Yehoshua(Yeshua/”Jesus”) for you.19 Do not quench the Ruach(Spirit) Hakodesh(TheHoly).20 Do not reject nevu’ot (prophecies).21 But test kol(all) davar(things) (everything); hold fast to haTov(theGood).22 Abstain from every appearance of ra’ah (evil).23 And now Elohei(God of) HaShalom(thePeace) wholly set you apart as Kadoshim(Holies/”saints”) and may your whole ruach(spirit) and nefesh(soul) and basar(flesh) be preserved without blame at the Bi’as(Coming?) HaMoshiach(TheMessiah) Adoneinu(our “Lord”) Yehoshua(Yeshua/”Jesus”).24 Ne’eman (Faithful) is the One who summons you to your kri’ah (calling). He will do it.25 Achim(brothers) b’Moshiach(in Messiah), offer tefillos(prayers) also concerning us. Kehilah in Thessalonika I(Thessalonians 1) 5:15-25.

Be blessed! ღ

Treasures –by Martha Nicholson

Poem found on: treasures – by Martha Snell Nicholson « Keith Ferrin.

One by one He took them from me,

All the things I valued most,

Until I was empty-handed;

Every glittering toy was lost.

And I walked earth’s highways, grieving.

In my rags and poverty.

Till I heard His voice inviting,

“Lift your empty hands to Me!”

So I held my hands toward heaven,

And He filled them with a store

Of His own transcendent riches,

Till they could contain no more.

And at last I comprehended

With my stupid mind and dull,

That God COULD not pour His riches

Into hands already full!

In 8th grade, we each had to pick a poem to memorize&recite to the class, learning everyone else’s as we went along. I thought this impossible, and I didn’t think I would be interested- but it turns out I was at the top of my game! :D I memorized all 20-odd poems, because I loved them so much(aside from having to know them for the test) and they’ve stuck with me through all these years… This poem, “Treasures” By Martha Snell Nicholson, was not the poem I was given, but I greatly admire its message. I’m sure it’s one we can all relate to!

I don’t have to tell you what you’ve already figured out by reading this, but there is so much “stuff” and “clutter” in this world we don’t even need, or really want. We cling to it anyway, but if we could just give it up, we’d be given real treasure- placed right into our very hands, by our very own Creator Who knows what we *really* need, what is best for us, what we will need, when, and why. We don’t have the big picture like He does, so we just need to trust in Him. Love Him. Only HIM <3… Give him our hearts, our lives, our stuff, our loved ones… it’s the best place for those things to be. Be amazed to see what He returns to you!..:)

Here’s a quote from a movie called “Joshua”:

“Sometimes you have to tear something down in order to build it back up.”

As we are giving things away- tearing away the things we do not need, we can receive from the Father and build our sukkahs in righteousness. :)

Shalom ღ

Why did I choose this title?:)

You might also be wondering as to why I called this, my special blog, “building my sukkah”. :) It comes from the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles, found in Leviticus 23 [23:39-43, in particular]- for reference), which is my FAVORITE feast in the entire Bible :D. It comes after Yom Teruah (Quite arguably, my favorite Holy DAY, :)), the 10 days of Awe, and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). It is an 8-Day feast, where you live in Sukkahs!!:D A sukkah is a temporary structure, a dwelling that you create from basically anything you can, weaving branches (specified in reference given) through the walls&the roof of it (some like to decorate with apples&flowers&etc.), and it must be that you can see the stars looking out through the roof :D. How amazing &perfect is THAT? I love my Creator!! He commands us to rest on the first&last day of this awesome harvest feast :D. And living out-of-doors, breathing the ever-fresh air&viewing the STARS EVERY NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! :D. AWESOME!!! Hahah! x)!!! There is SO much joy involved, this is a feast of celebration!

So, it’s understandable why I’d want to name my blog after my favorite time of the year, but how is this relevant? :). Well, I view it as: we are all in our own little “sukkahs”, and building them with good foundations, virtues, everything good- is most important! Everything in this world is temporary- therefore, I find the term “sukkah” fitting :). In concern of the feast: our regular homes are not our real sukkahs, but for the benefit of this blog: they are- in reference :). Our sukkahs can include our heart, – how we guard it; our home- with what &how we build it :); our bodies – how we nourish&sustain it. How? With life. With our Father!! Elohim, Creator of us&the universe. I find “how” to be most important- these are our lives&others’ that we’re dealing with, and responsible for! I am committed to making the right choice- at least to trying! :) (We all fall short [ 23 For all have sinned and suffered want of the kavod(holiness) Hashem(The Name, or Yehovah/Yahweh)], this we all should know – lol!).

The way to do that, is to read the Bible- understand its truth, believe it, and act upon it! Biblical health: do you eat “kosher”(things deemed Biblically clean to eat)? We are God’s temple. The Bible says pigs(for example) are unclean- would you agree, that they are not fit to have any place in God’s Temple? I only want for what God gives me, and provides for me- and He would not want us to break His law :). Resist temptation from the Devil, it WILL flee; Choose life!

So, that’s health&spirituality, for you!:) Things we need, to make our sukkah great, &acceptable to Him Who made us…

Be blessed <3 Shalom.

(translated help on the Bible reference:

6 But He gives all the more Chen v’Chesed(grace and favor)! Therefore it says, “Hashem LALETZIM HU YALITZ V’LA’ANAYIM YITEN CHEN (“Hashem opposes the proud mocker but gives grace to the humble” [MISHLE 3:34]).7 Submit yourselves in mishma’at (obedience) to Hashem(YHVH). Resist Hasatan(the Devil), and he will flee from you.8 Draw near to Hashem(Yehovah) and Hashem(Yahweh) will draw near to you. Cleanse your yadayim (hands), you chote’im (sinners)! And purify your levavot(hearts), you anashim(people) of double mind! [TEHILLIM 73:28; ZECHARYAH 1:3; MALACHI 3:7; YESHAYAH 1:16; TEHILLIM 24:4; 119:113; YIRMEYAH 4:14])

Welcome to my humble Sukkah… =)

Welcome to my new blog page, buildingmysukkah :). I’m glad that you’ve found me; may you be blessed in many ways by the posts here to follow…

I’ll post about health-related news, Bible readings that have blessed my heart, and other articles that should be shared to better us as human beings :).

I love being creative, and finding new things to learn about. I sincerely care about quality of life, and what our Father says is right for us, as His children. Sometimes I feel too much the weight of the world, that is not my own- the way things are going, in the unjust world we live in. Is it my burden to carry? Not exactly, because I can’t change it all. Will I try to help by sharing things I think are important to know? ABSOLUTELY!!! :D You can count on it. Please share stuff with me, as well!!! I would greatly appreciate your feedback, &support :).

I think it will be so exciting to have this, my own little blog :D, wherever it may lead. Pray for me, that what I post is prudent, helpful, uplifting (I don’t want to constantly post the terrible stuff that is going on, the downers, but will if I think you need to know)… and that I don’t let it slide :). I would like this to become a good habit! Thanks so much, :D! And I hope to see you in the future…

(I like to post from the Orthodox Jewish Version, simply because it’s got some cool Hebrew words in it, which I like to learn as I go :)&I think it’s the coolest YouVersion has to offer me, so thanks for bearing with me!!) There are some words already translated, I do my best to add translations for Hebrew words not in Englishified(my own word, clearly!;D) parenthesis :)…

“As to the rest, Achim(Brothers) b’Moshiach(in Messiah), whatever things are emes (truth), nichbad (noble), yashar (straight), tahor (clean), male No’am (full of pleasantness) and tiferet (beauty) [SHEMOT 28:2], whatever things are commendable, if there is any virtue, if any praise, think about these things.”
