The Power of Praise ღ

The power of praise. Can heal your limp.
You’ve been spurned&burned by a life with no flavaa* -bust outta prison with the risen life Sav-yahh*.” (:D *Insert NY accent (Carman) on those two words, lol). -Note: the rap parts- these lyrics- are cut out of the linked YT video, for unknown reason- great song anyway:) ).

No matter what we are going through in our lives, it is crucial to praise Yah(shortform of Yahweh, a name of God): <- that is not a frowning face, it is an end parenthsi(?), with a colon to call your attention to the following:

1 It is tov(good) to give thanks unto Hashem(YHVH, and to make music unto Thy Shem(Name), O Elyon;2 (3) To proclaim Thy chesed(grace) in the boker(morning), and Thy emunah(faith) baleilot(by nights),3 (4) Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the nevel (lyre); to the melody of the kinnor (harp).4 (5) For Thou, Hashem(Yehovah), hast made me glad through Thy work; I will joy in the works of Thy hands.5 (6) Hashem(Yahweh), how great are Thy works! And Thy machshe’vot (thoughts) are very deep.6 (7) An ish ba’ar (brutish, senseless man, dolt) knoweth not; neither doth a kesil (fool) understand this.7 (8) When the resha’im(enemies) spring up like the esev (grass), and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed adei-ad (forever).8 (9) But Thou, Hashem(theName), art exalted l’olam(forever).9 (10) For, hinei(behold), Thine enemies, Hashem(Yehovah), for, hinei(behold), Thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.10 (11) But my keren(horn) shalt Thou exalt like the keren(horn) of a re’eim (wild ox); I shall be anointed with fresh shemen(oil).11 (12) Mine eye also shall look on mine foes, and mine ears shall hear of the resha’im(enemies) that rise up against me.12 (13) The tzaddik(Righteous) shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Levanon.13 (14) Those that are planted in the Beis(House) Hashem(of Yah) shall flourish in the khatzerot Eloheinu (courts of our G-d).14 (15) They shall still bear forth fruit in old age; they shall be deshenim (stalwart, vigorous) and ra’ananim (luxuriant, fresh);15 (16) To proclaim that Hashem(YHVH, the Name) is yashar(straight/honest, right); He is my Tzur(Flint- Rock/Contact), and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Tehillim(Psalms) 92.

Right now, as I am righting this, it is Sukkot!! :D Feast of Joy! (Simcha!) And celebration :). But, I am reminded that no matter when it is, His praise always makes things better, it is always good, and always helps even us! Brings things into truer focus ( ^to Him). How many things is God doing for us? &Constantly! Don’t take Him for granted. Welcome His Presence with Praise&Thanksgiving :). Don’t you love doing things for people who love and appreciate who you are &what you do? How much more likely are you to do all you can to please them? God loves us no matter what we do- sometimes that means Him putting up with a lot of stuff. Who are we to constantly ask for things, when we do nothing for Him? Even if you feel you can’t do anything in return (NO ONE can EVER repay God!! Thankfully, He’ll always outdo us ;Dღ), you can ALWAYS thank Him for sustaining your breath. Giving you food, shelter, close companions, friends, family, sustenance, nourishment, Himself, His Son… (if you are) do you realized you are saved? Do you praise Him for this each day? I must admit, that I do not!!:O I need to definitely remember that one more often!!!! That so long as I strive to please Him, and obey, &do so with a grateful heart, I have been saved from the pit of sheol(hell) and the Devil has no hold over me!! What a REJOICING thought!!!!!! :) I am so glad there is a God of this universe who cares about me, knowing each and every hair on my head- my needs before I ask for them ღ Praise Yah!!!

13 For Thou hast created my inmost being; Thou didst interweave me in the beten(womb) immi(mother’s).14 I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Thy ma’asim(works); and that my nefesh(soul) knoweth very well.15 My atzamim (bones, frame) were not hid from Thee, when I was made beseter (in secret), and skillfully wrought in the depths of the Eretz(Earth).16 Thine eyes did see my golem (embryo), yet being unformed; and in Thy Sefer (Book) all the yamim (days) ordained for me were written down, when as yet there were none of them.17 How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me, O El! How great is the sum of them!18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the chol (sand); when I awake, I am still with Thee. Tehillim(Psalms) 139:13-18

When I was little, I pondered the need for actually asking Him for something, when He already knows what I need. Well, I came up with this: If I never ask, then God won’t know beforehand- because I never did it in the first place!:D!! That’s not to say He won’t provide, when I forget to mention it- but why not, instead of expectation, provide an offering unto Him in respect&reference, for He is the Great High King of all? :) Then and only then, do I have the right to ask for anything above what I’m already given&blessed with :) Doing a little extra for my God to “earn” the favor, so to speak. It will delight His heart, He deserves every bit of us- 101%, all the time, for we are His bondservants :). We serve Him, we are here to fulfill His purpose, and he truly does reward our obedience- He will not let us grow hungry or lack for *anything*. YAHWEH takes care of, protects, and PROVIDES for His own ;) that’s you&me, if you believe in Him&carry out His words…

1 Fret not thyself because of re’im (evildoers); neither have thou kina (jealousy, envy) of the workers of iniquity.2 For they shall soon be cut down like the khatzir (grass), and wither as the green desheh (herb, plant).3 Trust in Hashem(The Name, Yahweh/Yehovah), and do tov(good); so shalt thou dwell in the Eretz (land), ure’eh emunah (and thou be pastured securely).4 Delight thyself also in Hashem(Yehovah), and He shall give thee the desires of thine lev(heart).5 Commit thy derech (road, way) unto Hashem; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.6 And He shall bring forth thy tzedakah (righteousness) as the ohr (light), and thy mishpat (justice) as the tzohorayim (noonday). Tehillim(Psalms) 37:1-6

I will let the Word(Yeshua) speak for Itself(Himself):)

1 Praise Hashem(YHVH). Praise Hashem(Yehovah) from HaShomayim(TheHeavens): praise Him in the heights above.2 Praise ye Him, all His malachim(angels): praise ye Him, all Tzivos(Hosts) Hashem(Yehovah).3 Praise ye Him, shemesh(sun) and yarei’ach(moon): praise Him, all ye kokhavim(stars) of ohr(light).4 Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above HaShomayim(TheHeavens).5 Let them praise the Shem(Name) of Hashem(Yehovah/Yahweh): for He commanded, and they were created.6 He hath also established them forever and ever: He hath made a Chok (decree) which shall not pass away.7 Hallelu(Praise) Hashem(theName=Yehovah) from ha’aretz(the land), ye sea creatures, and all tehomot(depths):8 Eish(lightning), and barad(hail); snow, and cloud; stormy wind fulfilling His Devar(Word):9 Mountains, and all hills; etz pri (fruitful trees), and all cedars:10 Beasts, and all cattle; remesh (creeping things), and flying fowl:11 Malchei(kings) eretz(earth [of the earth]), and all people; sarim (princes), and all shoftei aretz:12 Both bochurim(young men), and betulot(maidens); zekenim(old men), and ne’arim(children):13 Let them praise the Shem(Name) of Hashem(Yehovah): for Shmo(His Name) alone is excellent; His hod(glory) is above Eretz(Land) and Shomayim(Heavens).14 He also exalteth the keren(fund) of His people, tehillah (the praise) of all His Chasidim(Followers); even of the Bnei(Children) Yisroel(of Israel), an Am (people) close unto Him. Hallelu(Praise) Hashem(YHVH). Tehillim(Psalms) 148

Praise HIM!:D

All the time, for He is good and His love endures forever :) Shalom ღ.

Why did I choose this title?:)

You might also be wondering as to why I called this, my special blog, “building my sukkah”. :) It comes from the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles, found in Leviticus 23 [23:39-43, in particular]- for reference), which is my FAVORITE feast in the entire Bible :D. It comes after Yom Teruah (Quite arguably, my favorite Holy DAY, :)), the 10 days of Awe, and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). It is an 8-Day feast, where you live in Sukkahs!!:D A sukkah is a temporary structure, a dwelling that you create from basically anything you can, weaving branches (specified in reference given) through the walls&the roof of it (some like to decorate with apples&flowers&etc.), and it must be that you can see the stars looking out through the roof :D. How amazing &perfect is THAT? I love my Creator!! He commands us to rest on the first&last day of this awesome harvest feast :D. And living out-of-doors, breathing the ever-fresh air&viewing the STARS EVERY NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO SLEEP??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! :D. AWESOME!!! Hahah! x)!!! There is SO much joy involved, this is a feast of celebration!

So, it’s understandable why I’d want to name my blog after my favorite time of the year, but how is this relevant? :). Well, I view it as: we are all in our own little “sukkahs”, and building them with good foundations, virtues, everything good- is most important! Everything in this world is temporary- therefore, I find the term “sukkah” fitting :). In concern of the feast: our regular homes are not our real sukkahs, but for the benefit of this blog: they are- in reference :). Our sukkahs can include our heart, – how we guard it; our home- with what &how we build it :); our bodies – how we nourish&sustain it. How? With life. With our Father!! Elohim, Creator of us&the universe. I find “how” to be most important- these are our lives&others’ that we’re dealing with, and responsible for! I am committed to making the right choice- at least to trying! :) (We all fall short [ 23 For all have sinned and suffered want of the kavod(holiness) Hashem(The Name, or Yehovah/Yahweh)], this we all should know – lol!).

The way to do that, is to read the Bible- understand its truth, believe it, and act upon it! Biblical health: do you eat “kosher”(things deemed Biblically clean to eat)? We are God’s temple. The Bible says pigs(for example) are unclean- would you agree, that they are not fit to have any place in God’s Temple? I only want for what God gives me, and provides for me- and He would not want us to break His law :). Resist temptation from the Devil, it WILL flee; Choose life!

So, that’s health&spirituality, for you!:) Things we need, to make our sukkah great, &acceptable to Him Who made us…

Be blessed <3 Shalom.

(translated help on the Bible reference:

6 But He gives all the more Chen v’Chesed(grace and favor)! Therefore it says, “Hashem LALETZIM HU YALITZ V’LA’ANAYIM YITEN CHEN (“Hashem opposes the proud mocker but gives grace to the humble” [MISHLE 3:34]).7 Submit yourselves in mishma’at (obedience) to Hashem(YHVH). Resist Hasatan(the Devil), and he will flee from you.8 Draw near to Hashem(Yehovah) and Hashem(Yahweh) will draw near to you. Cleanse your yadayim (hands), you chote’im (sinners)! And purify your levavot(hearts), you anashim(people) of double mind! [TEHILLIM 73:28; ZECHARYAH 1:3; MALACHI 3:7; YESHAYAH 1:16; TEHILLIM 24:4; 119:113; YIRMEYAH 4:14])
